The New Age

The story of this system is that the world collapsed long ago due to the appearance of large beasts, and their persistence has prevented society from rising again. The players play as hunters cleaning the world of these monsters. 

 

When creating this system, I wanted the combat system to be simple and scale-able. This is evident in the NPC creation guide, where I allow for the creation of small animals to large mountain sized monsters. My goal was to create mechanics that feel like a giant monster and not a bag of Hit Points. 

My Role

Since this was done as a solo project, I was responsible for everything, including the writing, testing, system design, character sheet creation, and the art.
